Sony IMX174 sensor added to JAI GO industrial camera range

Available in monochrome or colour versions, with a GigE Vision interface and Power over GigE Vision, these global shutter cameras operate at 48.8 fps at full 1936 x 1216 (2.35 megapixels) resolution. Both models can be windowed down to a smaller region of interest (ROI) or can provide up to 5 overlapping ROIs in a single field of view to speed up the frame rate when the full resolution is not needed.
The new camera’s outstanding imaging performance is due to a signal-to-noise ratio of greater than 60 dB, measured using traditional measurement techniques, which is made possible by the sensor’s deep pixel wells (>30,000 electrons) and low noise architecture adapted from Sony’s CCD technology.
The new camera has a small, robust yet lightweight construction. Measuring just 29 x 29 x 41.5 mm (excluding lens mount), it weighs only 46 grams, which is lighter than many other cameras with IMX174 sensors. It can operate in demanding environmental conditions, with 80 G shock rating, 10 G vibration rating and -5 °C to +45 °C temperature rating.
