The Freiburg based manufacturer Z-Laser has revised their ZM12 series of laser modules. Thanks to the new optic head these laser modules are now available in enhanced optic variety. In addition to previous models with Gaussian lines and dotted lines the new models feature DOEs including optics such as cross, multi lines, matrix, circle, homogeneous lines (Powell) and raster lines. Unlike previous models the new ZM12 models provide a focus mechanism. Z-Laser has also improved the protection class: the new version complies with the IP67 standard.
Due to their small footprint ZM12 laser modules are perfectly suited for use in highly constricted spaces. They are available in different versions: B (basic), DM (digital modulation) and DM 5 (digital modulation, 5 VDC). The laser configuration is currently available with red and infrared wavelengths with an optical output of up to 50 mW.
Users benefit from this advancement as the new ZM12 laser modules cover many more applications due to enhanced optic variety, focus mechanism and improved robustness.
