Polarisation camera with inbuilt calculations gives new inspection possibilities


The new JAI-GO-5100MP-PGE polarisation camera enables analysis of material thickness, stress points, and other defects not observable using standard imaging techniques. Featuring Sony’s IMX250MZR polarised CMOS sensor this GigE Vision camera can also reduce the effects of reflections and hot spots from shiny materials such as plastics and glass. The unique on-board calculation of key parameters such as angle and degree of linear polarisation frees up host resources for other processing tasks.

10 GigE 4-CMOS prism-based RGB/NIR line scan camera


The JAI SW-4000Q-10GE 4-CMOS RGB/NIR line scan camera combines the colour accuracy of prism technology with a 10 GigE interface for high-speed inspections, with RGB + NIR output at up to 72 kHz. Automatic compatibility to 5 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, and 1 Gbps Ethernet standards accommodates slower applications. User-selectable pixel sizes allow setup for high responsivity or improved S/N according to the application. Direct connection to rotary encoders and a large variety of trigger options simplifies system integration. Precision time protocol (IEEE 1588) support ensures precise synchronisation in multi-camera networks.

World’s first 10GBASE-T GigE 3-CMOS colour line scan camera


The new Sweep SW-4000T-10GE camera from JAI combines 3-CMOS RGB prism line scan technology with a 10GBASE-T (10Gbit/s) interface for the first time for fast data transfer over distances up to 100 metres. This unique camera not only offers extraordinary versatility through backwards compatibility to N-BASE-T and 1000BASE-T GigE standards, but is also the world’s fastest prism-based colour line scan camera.
