In many vision inspection applications in fruit/vegetable sorting, tea/tobacco/coffee sorting as well as in print and pharmaceutical quality verification, the use of NIR and SWIR imaging has become more popular in addition to image inspection using visible light. This webinar looks more closely at how machine sorting, grading and inspection can be improved through simultaneous imaging of multiple electromagnetic wavelengths using a 3-CMOS or 4-CMOS industrial area scan or line scan camera. The webinar introduces the special prism-based camera technology spiced with some application examples.
