Meet the STEMMER IMAGING team at VISION 2018!
Stuttgart | 6 - 8 November 2018 | Hall 1 | Stand E52
What to look forward to at Vision 2018?
At VISION 2018 we’ll showcase state-of-the-art demo systems based on our Common Vision Blox programming library on almost 150 square metres.
Since we are particularly emphasizing “communication and networking” this year, you will have ample opportunity to discuss your projects with our machine vision experts.
Latest trends in machine vision
„STEMMER City“ will offer you lots of technical highlights: Together with our partners Adlink, Automation Technologie, Components Express, CCS, Gardasoft, JAI, Metaphase, Midwest Optical, Mitsubishi Electric, Perception Park, Smart Vision Lights, Xenics and Z-Laser we’ll present innovations from all areas of imaging and machine vision on more than 600 square metres.
Don't miss the world's leading trade fair for machine vision in Stuttgart! We are looking forward to your visit at our Stand E52, Hall 1!
Arrange a meeting
Please call our sales team or send us an e-mail to arrange a meeting with our experts. We look forward to seeing you on the show!
Coffee & Snacks

HIGHLIGHTS AT VISION 2018
The Embedded Lab and the Future Lab will feature a host of hands-on demonstrations highlighting current machine vision trends such as machine learning, embedded vision, 3D applications, hyperspectral imaging and Industry 4.0 connectivity. These will all utilise functionality provided by STEMMER IMAGING's Common Vision Blox machine vision software toolkit.
Industry 4.0 environment using the new OPC UA communication standard
The goal of Industry 4.0 is the creation of a "smart factory", which amongst other things should have properties such as flexibility, the ability to learn and resource efficiently. Ultimately, it is intended to enable the automatic exchange of data between the various production systems.
The STEMMER IMAGING team shows you how our Common Vision Blox (CVB) programming library communicates with the controller via OPC UA, which supports the central interface in the digital factory of tomorrow.
We look forward to working with you on new automation opportunities that embrace these latest innovative standards.
With the complete CVS HyperInspect systems, STEMMER IMAGING is exhibiting multi-purpose possibilities for hyperspectral imaging at VISION 2018. In relation to the development of imaging from monochrome via colour to 3D image capture, this technology represents the next evolutionary step: Machine Vision 4.0.
The latest CVB features for the visualisation of hyperspectral image data cubes and the handling of metadata will be demonstrated at a workstation for hyperspectral imaging.
Human assistance camera system for assembly stations
The new Ricoh SC-10A human assistance camera system for assembly stations is designed to eliminate errors in manual assembly operations in a multitude of industries. A set of work instructions can be loaded into the system and displayed on a monitor while the camera scans the work piece. The human operator follows the on-screen assembly instructions and after every action the system compares the result to the correct stored image before the next step can be taken. This reduces errors, helps operators learn new tasks and provides a digital audit trail of all operations.
