AVT´s new SWIR Camera Goldeye
19 Mar 2014
The new Goldeye is a brand new development and is based on a VGA InGaAs sensor stabilized with TEC1 peltier cooling. The rectangular housing is significantly smaller and lighter, which makes it the smallest SWIR camera with Gigabit Ethernet interface available. The first model in the range is the Goldeye G-032 SWIR, which features a highly sensitive InGaAs sensor with 640 x 512 pixel resolution and frame rates up to 100 frames per second. More models will be added during 2014.
For the tough requirements of industrial machine vision
The rugged hardware is designed for the tough requirements of industrial machine vision. The built-in sensor cooling works without a fan and the screwed interface port allows for a secure connection. The ultra-compact form factor fitting screw threads on all sides make the integration into an industrial vision system particularly easy. With its 12-pin Hirose I/O port, the new Goldeye opens many possibilities for trigger and synchronization with other system components.
GigE Vision compliant and Power over Ethernet
The new Goldeye features a GigE Vision compliant Gigabit Ethernet interface and supports Power over Ethernet, which simplifies cabling by powering the camera via the data cable. Thanks to its modular housing, the Goldeye can be fitted with various filters and lenses with C-, F- and M42 mounts.
Allied Vision Goldeye
The compact cameras with their active thermo electric cooling sensors provide low-noise image quality, even with very long exposure times. Comprehensive I/O control and a particularly robust housing predestine the Goldeye series for use in industrial applications.
