Gardasoft LFC 8xx/16xx

LEDs as bright as xenon strobes

The LFC series enables dynamic control of a wide variety of LED lighting and operating modes that cannot be realised with other controllers. Signal delays, intensity and duration can be controlled, sequences can be programmed and stored to be accurately repeated when required. Most vision systems using LED illumination can be controlled much more easily and be further enhanced by adding a Gardasoft Vision lighting controller.

Gardasoft LFC 8xx and 16xx provide very fast, accurate, large-current pulses for high-end applications. New generation LEDs driven by these controllers can exceed the brightness of xenon strobes.

You can choose between 8 or 16 independent channel versions, 3 levels of overdrive currents from 2 A up to 20 A and the two interfaces RS232 and Ethernet for remote control and configuration.

High timing accuracy for high high-speed applications

The Gardasoft range of controllers LFC8xx/16xx all offer high speed pulsing for rapid pulsing/strobing of the LED lights. Pulse width timing down to 1 µs (in 1 µs steps with timing repeatability of 100 ns for 1 µs pulses) allow to freeze the image even for high speed applications.

High output power for the latest high brightness LED vision lights

Today’s high power LED lights are pushing the boundaries forward. They require high power controllers. The Gardasoft LFC8xx/16xx range meets this ever increasing demand providing precise control when overdriving LED lights offering extra light brightness which exceed the brightness of xenon strobes.

Versatile controller with a wide range of features

The different models allow to choose between 8 and 16 channel with a high current accuracy (0.5 mA@2 A) and a high current value (up to 20 A) per channel. The controllers can be remotely controlled and dynamically configured via Ethernet and RS232 interface using commands sent from a machine vision application on a remote PC.
