The sensor’s 2/5-megapixel stereo camera provides accurate, full-area measurements suited for analyzing many features at once with a single exposure. With snapshot sensors, the target is stationary during acquisition effectively minimising the cost of expensive motion system components (such as encoders) and the associated errors due to vibration.

The structured blue light and stereo scanning technology provide reliable and repeatable data thanks to high ambient light immunity even in challenging lighting conditions. By capturing 3D clouds of points the system is capable of high resolution measurement in many non-contact online inspection applications using built-in measurement tools.

Setup is intuitive with easy integration via GigE interface. The built-in web server provides direct setup of all profile parameter and measurement tools on the sensor. Once you've set it up, the system operates as a standalone single sensor application without additional controller or PC.
The emulator software can be stored on your PC, which provides an exact duplicate of the Gocator interface.
Measurements can be performed on pre-recorded data, offline, in a web browser-based "virtual sensor" environment - so the sensor doesn't need to be connected. The data from the gocator can be downloaded for manipulation without disrupting the online inspection. Once complete, the information can then be saved and uploaded to the sensor.
The Gocators do not require a PC to operate, but if required, their processing power can be used as an extra resource. The GoX Sensor Accelerator can help decrease cycle times by offloading data processing to a PC for added processing speed and memory capacity. The gocator interface still remains the same with set-up via the web browser interface.
