The Schneider Kreuznach Swiron lens is perfectly suitable for SWIR applications where a correction from 900 nm to 1700 nm is mandatory. Not only is this lens coated for the SWIR range, it's corrected and delivers excellent image quality within this spectral range.
Reasons to use the Swiron lens
With an image circle that covers 25.6 mm, it is 50% larger than most of the other SWIR lenses on offer. Together with its high resolution of up to a 12.4 µm pixel pitch it is the perfect choice when it comes to high accuracy measurements.
