STEMMER IMAGING Offers New Toshiba HD Industrial Vision Camera For Microscopy

14 Mar 2012

The new Toshiba IK-HR2D HD-CMOS industrial vision camera announced by STEMMER IMAGING features both USB and DVI outputs and full 1080p HDTV resolution. Ideally suited to microscopy and other scientific imaging applications, the camera’s USB interface eliminates the need for further industrial vision hardware such as a frame grabber. The USB vision interface can transfer 5 frames per second at 1920 x 1080 pixels or 10 frames per second at 1280 x 720 pixels.

The IK-HR series' progressive scan technology is the key to sharp, high resolution images without motion artefacts while maintaining an outstanding colour composition. The 1/3" 16:9 colour CMOS industrial vision sensor offers full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with a choice of HD output formats. DVI frame rates are 60 frames/sec for 1080p and 720p and 30 frames/sec for 1080i.

Adjustable shutter speeds & gamma along with automatic and manual white balance ensures the IK-HR industrial vision cameras can be configured for a wide variety of applications. The camera can be easily adjusted using the on- screen menu.

The IK-HR2's small size of only 44 x 44 x 78mm also makes it suitable for use in confined spaces in other applications involving moving objects, such as industrial imaging, broadcasting, security and monitoring.
