AVT introduces new Manta models with multi-tap sensors
28 Jun 2013
The Manta camera series now includes five new models in higher resolution ranges. The Manta G-282 and the Manta G-917 industrial cameras are equipped with the new Sony ICX687 (2.8 megapixels) and ICX814 (9.2 megapixels) sensors.
Now available with PoE (Power over Ethernet)
Additional product launches are the high resolution Manta G-283, which also features a 2.8 megapixel sensor, and the 6 megapixel Manta G-609. All four camera models are equipped with Sony EXview HAD II CCD sensors. Along with these CCD sensors, AVT introduces the CMOS model Manta G-223 with 2.2 megapixels, which uses a CMOSIS CMV2000 sensor. In addition, the Manta models are now available with PoE (Power over Ethernet).
High-output GigE Vision interface
Like all cameras in the family, the new Manta models offer an especially attractive cost/performance ratio. They are equipped with a high-output GigE Vision interface and numerous optimisation functions. Particular highlights of these cameras are the three LUTs, the extensive colour correction, the robust metal housing and a wide range of modular options – such as angled heads or board-level camera versions. The Manta cameras can be flexibly and easily integrated into any application.
