The KAI-47051 Image Sensor is the world's highest resolution interline transfer CCD with a global shutter. It is designed for the most demanding inspection and surveillance applications including flat panel display inspection, electronics inspection, aerial imaging, and ground surveillance.
Based on an advanced 5.5-micron interline transfer CCD platform, the sensor features a broad dynamic range and excellent imaging performance and uniformity. The full resolution readout of up to 7 fps in the CL version and 9 fps in the CXP version is enabled through a multi-tap output architecture. A vertical overflow drain structure suppresses image blooming and enables electronic shuttering for precise exposure control.

Flat field correction gives a uniform linear image from edge to edge. The camera has user defined defect correction, programmable I/O and has advanced tap balancing to produce the highest quality images possible.
High-performance cameras with Progressive Scan sensor, based on latest 5.5 µm 4-tap CCD technology by Kodak. Supports frame rates up to 125fps at 1 million pixel resolution, equipped with a CameraLink interface.
