The light emission of the CCS MFU is suitable for high-precision measurements and inspection of fine burrs due to the unique optical design which achieves highly accurate imaging that prevents light from wrapping around the workpiece. Light convergence can be adjusted according to the lens on the imaging side.
CCS MFU
Highly collimated light output for metrology
The unique optical design of the CCS MFU series provides a highly collimated light output that suppresses the wraparound of light, enabling accurate dimensional measuring.
With traditional backlights, it is quite challenging to emphasise the edges of silhouettes, because of light wrapping around the workpiece, making it difficult to perform high-precision measurements.
In addition, the CCS KT-MFU models, together with the HLV3-C Spot Light Series, enable increased brightness, which is perfect for high-speed inspections.
Reasons for CCS MFU
The CCS MFU coaxial lights provide collimated lighting from behind the workpiece and result in a collimated output to suppress the wraparound of light, emphasising edges of silhouettes.
The MFU series comes in both 12 V and 24 V versions. The 24 V model facilitates use with common control units.
