STEMMER IMAGING

Ultraviolet light is often used to fluoresce materials such as glue or ink and is used in a variety of applications in the medical or scientific imaging sectors. UV lights are also ideal for grease, adhesive coating, ITO film and flux inspections. In many cases, the use of UV Illumination simplifies the analysis of images considerably by highlighting features not easily detected with light from the visible spectrum such as tiny scratches on glass surfaces.

The CCS UV3/VL3 series offers an expanded lineup with a maximum of twice the output of the conventional UV2 series, supplemented with violet light models.

The series includes four different types of illumination: ring lights, bar lights, short line lights, and spotlights available in six model variants and wavelengths of 365 nm, 385 nm, 395 nm and 405 nm. Overdrive models are available to increase inspection speed and offer approx. 8 times higher light output compared to the UV2 series.

The LDR2 ring lights, the LDL bar lights, and the LNSP-FN high power line lights are available in two types of directivity: wide types to illuminate a wide area and narrow types for convergent illumination on a narrow area.
