STEMMER IMAGING AG generates first-half EBITDA of EUR 4.6 million, 36.2 percent higher than the first half of last year, and announces full-year forecast

Puchheim, 09 April 2018 | In the first half of the fiscal year 2017/2018 (fiscal year: July 1 – June 30) and based on preliminary figures, STEMMER IMAGING AG generated an EBITDA of EUR 4.55 million, thus 36.2 percent higher than the corresponding year-ago figure of EUR 3.34 million. At EUR 47.4 million, the consolidated revenues for the same period were 12.6 percent higher than the year-ago figure (H1 2016/2017: EUR 42.1 million). The continued strongly growing machine vision market environment was a major contributing factor to this increase.

In view of the higher-than-expected operating results in the first half and the fact that the revenues and results of the acquired Data Vision (Netherlands) will be fully consolidated with effect as of 31 January 2018, STEMMER IMAGING AG anticipates that the EBITDA for the full year 2017/2018 will be significantly higher than previously expected. Assuming that the positive market trends and the good order situation continue in the second half, the Management Board considers it possible to generate revenues in a range of EUR 97 to EUR 100 million with a double-digit EBITDA margin.

The complete interim report of STEMMER IMAGING AG as of 31 December 2017 is intended to be published on 24 April 2018.
