STEMMER IMAGING expands market share in France by acquiring ELVITEC S.A.S.

Puchheim, 10th July 2018 - STEMMER IMAGING, one of the leading providers of machine vision technology in Europe, has acquired ELVITEC S.A.S. (ELVITEC)’s business in a share deal. ELVITEC is a highly specialised provider of machine vision solutions from France.

STEMMER IMAGING AG (ISIN DE000A2G9MZ9/WKN A2G9MZ) continues to consistently implement its growth strategy after its successful IPO. In a share deal, the wholly owned subsidiary STEMMER IMAGING S.A.S. acquired 100 per cent of the shares in the French ELVITEC S.A.S. The company from Pertuis, near Aix-en-Provence, is an established provider of camera solutions for industry, monitoring, and imaging. The Management Board of STEMMER IMAGING AG expects the acquisition to result in an anticipated additional revenue contribution of around EUR 9 million and an EBITDA margin of around 11 per cent at ELVITEC in the 2018/2019 financial year. The company is consolidated retrospectively from 1 July 2018.

Both parties initially agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
