World’s first 10GBASE-T GigE 3-CMOS colour line scan camera


The new Sweep SW-4000T-10GE camera from JAI combines 3-CMOS RGB prism line scan technology with a 10GBASE-T (10Gbit/s) interface for the first time for fast data transfer over distances up to 100 metres. This unique camera not only offers extraordinary versatility through backwards compatibility to N-BASE-T and 1000BASE-T GigE standards, but is also the world’s fastest prism-based colour line scan camera.

New 3-CMOS sensor camera gives exceptional colour image data


A new 3-CMOS area scan camera combines the accuracy of prism-based optics with the image quality provided by Sony Pregius IMX265 colour sensors. The prism separates incoming light into red, green and blue wavelengths, which are directed onto the three precisely-aligned sensors. This allows the JAI APEX AP-3200T-USB to deliver better colour fidelity and spatial precision than traditional Bayer colour cameras.

Precise-iris control offers benefits for machine vision users


Optics and illumination play a critical role in optimising the imaging conditions for machine vision measurement. Even the seemingly simple act of adjusting the iris (aperture) of a lens affects several parameters in the imaging system. There are a number of ways of adjusting the iris, but the Precise-iris (or P-iris) method offers significant benefits.
