LensSensor can be used to assist in the design of optics and allows the specification of two of the three parameters, focal length, object distance and object size, and in each case the third value is then calculated. Sensor resolution and pixel size can also be used to perform the calculation. The exact data rate can also be determined by using the frame rate and the bits per pixel.
The app also presents a list that shows the maximum possible data rate when using different camera interfaces such as GigE Vision, USB 2 and USB 3, etc.
You can download this handy app from the Apple AppStore. Use this QR code to take you straight there.
STEMMER IMAGING has been one of the leaders in the machine vision market since 1987. It is one of Europe's largest technology providers in this field.
