»Machine integration made easy« promises Qioptiq with the new Optem Fusion modular lens system.

The new Optem Fusion lens system with its interchangeable modular design allows users to swap out components to modify performance, form, and function of the lens system quickly and simply. This exceptional flexibility makes Optem Fusion an ideal solution for OEMs seeking high-magnification imaging for their systems.

Configurable with versatile 7:1 or 12.5:1 zoom modules, or to any number of economical fixed-magnification specifications, Optem Fusion delivers micro- imaging magnifications from 0.16X to 14.4X at resolutions up to 600 lp/mm. It can further be configured to image across 32–492mm working distances for added working space beneath the lens. Optem Fusion is also compatible with Optem LWD objectives to meet even higher magnification requirements of up to 325x. Optimised for cameras of almost any mount type and formats up to 4/3, Optem Fusion combines infinity optics with a wide range of interchangeable magnification, function and accessory modules to provide unprecedented feature and performance modification.

Integration of LED light sources

Optem Fusion can be specified with manual or stepper-motorized zoom and/or internal 5mm focus. Integrated illumination options include 3-Watt LED ring lights and coaxial sources. Space efficient 90° Mirror Cubes and 50/50 Cubes provide virtually unlimited optical path flexibility to fit tight spatial constraints or particular camera or subject orientation requirements. Modular accessory blocks make it easy to incorporate polarisers, filters, iris and custom aperture sets to meet specific imaging characteristics.
Comprehensive modular mounting brackets allow the use of standardised images, regardless of the configuration.
