Portfolio of machine vision training extended

Across all the European offices of STEMMER IMAGING, several hundred participants every year enhance their knowledge of machine vision through the training offered by the European Imaging Academy.
At the German headquarters in Puchheim English language training is being offered for the first time, the goal being to facilitate the transfer of specialised machine vision knowledge to employees of international companies by eliminating language barriers. Another advantage is that customers and people from neighbouring European countries interested in machine vision will have better access to the courses and have a greater choice of training dates.
Training: Optics and illumination - in English
On April 18th and 19th 2016 the two-day course "Optics and illumination for machine vision“ is offered in English. The feasibility of a machine vision task depends strongly on the correct use of optics and illumination components. The participants gain basic knowledge of optics and illumination and practical exercises show how the selection of components influences the quality of the image.
Training: Machine vision solutions - in English
The intensive course "Planning and implementation of machine vision solutions“ is held in English on June 7th and 8th 2016. Experienced vision experts use practical application examples, calculations and live demonstrations to explain to the participants how to configure a complete machine vision system from a technical as well as from a technological perspective in an optimal way.
Training: Hyperspectral imaging
From January 2016 STEMMER IMAGING offers intuitively configurable hyperspectral systems for industrial machine vision. This technology allows the identification of objects using their chemical and molecular characteristics and opens completely new fields of application. Our training "Hyperspectral imaging – New inspection possibilities for industrial machine vision“ on April 27th 2016 in Puchheim shows how these systems work and which applications they are most suitable for.
