Schneider Kreuznach manufacture thin-layer band-pass filters which transmit a defined wavelength range whilst blocking the remaining wavelengths, whereby transmission is less than 1%. By combining absorbing long-pass glass substrates with multiple thin-layer coatings this leads to excellent optical quality with high surface precision and a transmission in excess of 90% at large aperture.
The filters are available for 16 centre wavelengths from 485nm to 855nm and can be customized specifically for common LEDs. They offer solutions for image optimization in demanding applications of industrial imaging, i.e. in the fields of biotechnology, semiconductor inspection and food control. The band- pass filters are available from us in diameters from 8mm to 117mm, mounted or unmounted, with standard filter threads in the sizes M 25.5 to M 67.0.
