Programmable LED lighting controllers

The LFC series enables dynamic control of a wide variety of LED lighting and operating modes that cannot be realised with other controllers. Signal delays, intensity and duration can be controlled, sequences can be programmed and stored to be accurately repeated when required. Most vision systems using LED illumination can be controlled much more easily and be further enhanced by adding a Gardasoft Vision lighting controller.

Gardasoft utilises the patented SafeSense technology, assuring a safely overdriving of LEDs.

The LFC 4xx/5xx series offers 6 different models. You can choose between 2- or 4-channel versions, standard or fast timing, high overdrive current up to 10 A or more precise current settings (1 mA) up to 2 A and two different configuration interfaces (push-button and remote control via Ethernet).

Patented SafeSense technology for a safe overdriving of LED Lights

Accurate overdriving is a major step forward in LED lighting control; equally it is important to ensure that the lighting can never be overdriven outside of permissible current ratings. Gardasoft solves this problem: When a light is connected, the SafeSense technology runs a rapid routine that determines the actual rating of the light. SafeSense imposes safe working limits based on the pulse width and duty cycle for overdriving, thus providing full protection. In constant mode, the maximum output current allowed would be the maximum rating defined by SafeSense.

SafeSense works by using the following techniques:

  • Sensing when a light is connected
  • Finding the current rating of the light
  • Driving the light within safe limits
  • Detecting faults

All models offer the possibility of controlling the amount of light for different modes (continuous, dimming, pulsed, overdrive).

Gardasoft Maintenance tool for intuitive configuration

GardasoftMaint is an essential application for supporting Gardasoft controllers. The maintenance application is a tool for discovering all the controllers in a network. It is used to access the controller’s web-interface, send Ethernet commands, update firmware, and configure the IP address.
