Kowa’s VM series features a newly designed switch locking screw mechanism that prevents thumb screws from falling off by utilising a fixing screw that does not rotate in a set position.
The thumb screw locks into place by sliding the fixing screw to the right side. It can then be detached by sliding the fixing screw to the left side.

50 megapixel lenses with a 2" image circle
The Kowa LM-VM series designated for large format sensors with a 2" image circle and up to 50 megapixel. The high-quality VM lenses can be used with sensors down to a pixel size of 3.1µm. This makes them suitable for sensors such as Sony IMX342, CMOSIS CMV12000, CMV20000 and CMV50000. The lenses are perfect for applications such as line scan, flat panel display inspection and aerial photography.
The series is offered with M42-mount and TFL-mount (M35-Mount). Different flange back adapters are available for the M42 version.
