Metabright diffused illumination
These traditional dome lights are great for diffused and uniform, all around illumination. They're great for illuminating curved surfaces with minimal shadows and hot spots. It also works well with parts that have a reflective finish such as glosses, mirrors and highly polished, metallic surfaces.
They've covered all bases with the wavelengths they're available in - Red, Blue, Green, Infrared and UV (both the 365 and 395 nm versions). If you're after some independent colour control, they even offer an RGB version.
