High quality LED technology replacement for fluoroscent tubes

The Metaphase ExoLight is an efficient and economical LED replacement technology available for the fluorescent tube. It is best applied where a highly intense, yet widely diffused light beam is required. The micro-lens diffuser developed by Metaphase provides a highly even light intensity distribution.

Due to its tube-like form, it's the ideal replacement for applications that have been using fluorescent tubes before. The compact and robust package makes it perfectly suited for industry grade applications.

Advanced diffusor technology

Metaphase’s own patent-pending isotropic plastic micro-lens diffusers shape the isotropic illumination unique to the ExoLight. Isotropic lensing produces extremely even illumination and minimizes specular reflection (hot spots and glare) inherent with LEDs.

Direct replacement of a fluorescent tube

The ExoLight offers all the advantages of fluorescent lighting but without the liabilities of tubes. It's "tube-like" in form and mimics the softly diffused output of fluorescent lights. It produces higher power and more stable output, while featuring the long lifetime expectancy and low cost of ownership of LEDs.

Extended lifetime with no maintenance

Solid-state design ensures 75.000-hour lifetime expectancy for each of the ExoLight lighting systems.

Available in different sizes and wavelengths

Available in over 20 different lengths from 12 to 307 cm. LED options range from white and coloured LEDs to IR and UV.

This is a general purpose illumination product fitting a wide range of applications. It is particularly suited to pick & place or palletisation/depalletisation applications in large robot cells.
