Metaphase UL line light

High intensity LED line light with UL certification

The Metaphase UL line light provides a narrow, structured beam that delivers concentrated light for the narrow field of view of line scan cameras. The high intensity and uniformity enables the UL line light to be used as a bright field, dark field or backlight illumination.

Due to passive cooling, it is particularly suited to harsh environments. For application with excess light requirement, a water cooled version is available on request.

Highly versatile usage

The illumination can be used in a variety of ways: As a bright field front light to inspect material defects. Alternatively, in angled position, to obtain an off-axis effect to highlight surface defects. It is also possible to use it as a backlight beneath an object to detect holes, voids, or containments.

UL certification

The light series features an UL certification, which reduces barriers for export to the US market.

Intensity control

Adjustable brightness via 0-10 V signal for an easy setting of the intensity when used with the digital intensity controller DDC-3. The DDC-3 is ideal to independently control up to 3 lights.

Compact fanless design

The passively cooled design results in a compact housing, which allows integration of the device even where space is restricted. An optional water cooled version allows a higher light output with the same dimensions.
