Phrontier PHIRE and Mini-PHIRE

Fibre optic extender for CameraLink Base cameras

The PHIRE is a compact fibre adapter that plugs directly into a CameraLink camera or frame grabber without the need for CameraLink cables. It offers 16-bit or 24-bit data transmission distances up to 80km at up to 85 MHz.

The PHIRE offers transparent communication and works with any CameraLink Base cameras and frame grabbers. PHIRE is also compatible with Power Over CameraLink (PoCL). No programming is required. PHIRE is available in single and dual fibre versions. The New Mini-PHIRE is a smaller compact version and is ideal for applications with limited space.

CWDM technology is available on the Phire and Phox product families for multiplexing multiple fibre connections into one single fibre while maintaining full bidirectional transmission for all systems at the same time. Up to 18 optical wavelengths are available.
