Schneider 1.1” Xenon-Opal
Ultra high resolution small format lens for up to 12 megapixel
The Xenon-Opal 1.1" compact C-mount lens from Schneider Kreuznach achieves the highest image quality over the entire field. Designed to operate with 12 MP cameras and 1.1" sensors, the maximum chief ray angle of 6° assures that this lens is a perfect match for state-of-the-art sensors with pixels down to 3 µm.
The robust mechanics enable the lens to be mounted on a robot arm while the precise centering and field curvature correction ensure a sharp edge to edge image, perfect for high-end 3D measurement systems. The 400 to 1000 nm broadband ARcoating makes the Xenon-Opal lens suitable for LED illumination from blue light to NIR.
This lens is perfectly suitable for the IMX253 and IMX304 sensors as the 6° chief ray angle achieves close to zero shading on the sensor.
