The Schneider Kreuznach Unifoc lens system creates the perfect symbiosis between industrial standards and versatility. Supplied with the popular V-38 mount, these lenses can easily be adapted to pretty much every noteworthy camera mount on the market, like C-mount, M42, M58, M72, M90 or M95.

Simple adaptation to most cameras

The V38-mount lenses can be used with the popular Unifoc 12 helical mount which uses V38 mount on both sides and can adapt to camera mounts like C-mount, M42 and M58.

You can also use a V38 to Leica adaptor to use these lenses with the Unifoc 58 or -76 helical mounts. The Unifoc 58 helical mount uses a Leica mount on the lens side and the T2 mount on the other side (M42x0.75 - please do not mistake it for the regular M42x1 mount). Making it possible to adapt to camera mounts like F-Mount, M42 or C-mount.

The Unifoc 76 helical mount is the focusing mount for larger sensors using a Leica mount on the lens side and M58 on the other side making it very easy to adapt to cameras with M58 but also M72, M95 or M42. Whichever Unifoc system you may decide on, we offer a broad range of adaptor tubes for your required magnification. Versatile

These lenses can be used in many scenarios, thanks to the popular V-38 mount. This mount has many advantages; one of the most popular ones is that it can adapt almost all relevant camera mounts and comes with a wide range of different focusing solutions, (see Schneider Unifoc).

Another advantage is that it can be mounted backwards - just unscrew the mount and attach it on the other side of the lens to receive a so called retro lens position. The MTF must then be read backwards. If the Leica mount is used, these lenses can be used for larger sensors (sensor diagonals larger than 30 mm).

Optimised for many different magnifications

The Unifoc lenses are optimised for magnifications from 1:20 to 1:1 and when used in the retro position, it is reversed, making them very flexible for many different scenarios.
