The XL vision sensors offer an embedded vision tool set exceeding those available on the BOA Spot EL and IDE vision sensors combined.
The XLE extends the XL's toolset with the addition of the QuickBarcode Direct Part Marking algorithm.
Both the XL and XLE models have an automatic reading of characters (OCR) which is based on a trained inference network built from Artificial Intelligence technology.
The device supports image preprocessing tasks like colour balancing. Image processing operations can be scripted sequentially or as a background job.
