Xenics Manx

Highspeed SWIR CoaxPress Linescan Camera

With the Manx series, Xenics has introduced one of the world's fastest SWIR linescan cameras. It is available in line rates of up to 128 kHz and 256 kHz, utilizing Xenics' own detector and ROIC design. The sophisticated detector is available in 512, 1024 or 2048 pixels, all with a pixel pitch of 12.5 µm.

The Xeneth software with an SDK and a Graphical User Interface allows easy set-up and control of infrared cameras and acquisition of images.

Reasons to choose the Xenics Manx

One of the world's fastest SWIR linescan cameras

In case the customer needs to do multiplexing for multispectral imaging without loss of speed, the Manx is a very good choice. The use of CoaXPress interfacing enables fast and reliable data transfer. Thanks to these standardized industrial imaging interfaces, a wide variety of vision software can be used for data processing.

Low noise, low dark current for excellent image quality

Although the camera is super high speed, Xenics managed to maintain the very good image quality, known from the Lynx series and even improve it.

Versatile usability with 4 gain modes

Usual SWIR cameras and SWIR linescan cameras specifically have only 1 or 2 gain modes covering most applications needs with regards to dynamic range and imaging precision. The Manx has 4 different gain modes, giving the customer a broader choice to optimize the application settings.

Xeneth: Graphical user interface to setup, control, record and measure temperature

Xeneth is a graphical user interface that allows for easy set-up and control of infrared cameras and acquisition of images. All IR camera control settings such as integration time, AD settings, detector temperature and gain can be optimised by the user.

Nearly all settings can be uploaded to the cameras after their configuration for a smooth standalone operation with e.g. 3rd party machine vision applications.

The standard software is supplied, for free, with every Xenics camera for easy set-up and control of the camera.
