HALCON 20.11 is due to be released on November 20, 2020 and it’s packed with many new features such as deep learning edge detection, Deep OCR and faster 3D matching – all of which will help to further enhance the performance of your machine vision application.
MVTec HALCON 19.11 extends deep learning and more

Deep learning, 3D imaging and code reading capabilities are enhanced in Halcon 19.11. Now only a low number of high quality defect-free, un-labelled training images are needed for automated surface defect inspection.
STEMMER IMAGING and MVTec expand co-operation into the UK and Ireland

STEMMER IMAGING AG and MVTec Software GmbH are expanding their co-operation for the distribution of HALCON and MERLIC machine vision software to include the United Kingdom and Ireland. This will take effect from 1st September 2019, and further builds on the current distribution agreement between the two companies which already covers 14 European countries.
