With more than 500,000 installations worldwide, Sapera LT SDK is available free of charge for use with Teledyne DALSA cameras and frame grabbers, and includes support for Trigger to Image Reliability, TurboDrive along with CamExpert, an intuitive graphical interface for quick setup and configuration.

Teledyne DALSA cameras also come with a free runtime of Sapera Essentials that include many machine vision functions for application development.

High speed multi-camera machine vision controller reduces costs


Designed for the inspection of multiple features of a part or assembly, the high speed GEVA 400 self-contained industrial vision controller from Teledyne DALSA utilises multiple cameras to drive down production costs. Four Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) compliant Gigabit cameras can be connected directly, with the option of adding further cameras using commercially available network technologies to further reduce system costs for larger configurations.

Wolf GmbH uses a sorting system from BT-Anlagenbau for the reliable detection of synthetic intestine residues, some of which are as small as 1mm2 on Berner sausages, and to detect contaminated products. The key elements of these systems are machine vision components from STEMMER IMAGING combined with smart imaging software and a precise sorting system from BT-Anlagenbau, which enable the inspection of sausages in flight during the production process.

High speed embedded vision for the factory floor


Compact industrial vision systems provide a powerful embedded vision solution for high-speed inspection of multiple features of a part or assembly. A rugged industrial controller acquires, processes and analyses images from multiple cameras for applications such as final inspection of large assemblies. Designed specifically for use on the factory floor, the robust systems run embedded versions of PC machine vision software. This is a cost effective alternative approach to deploying standard PC solutions in harsh industrial environments.
