The user programmable FPGA technology provides the ability to adapt a variety of high-speed, compute-intensive real-time processing applications. The Xcelera-CL VX4, is a member of the award-winning Xcelera product series and is based on the PCI Express (PCIe) X4 platform which features powerful embedded processing architecture for real-time high-performance machine vision applications.
The Xcelera-CL?VX4 combines field proven image acquisition with on-board processing capabilities. Compatible with Windows?XP and Windows?7 (32/64-Bit) and Base, Medium or Full CameraLink cameras, the X64 Xcelera-CL VX4 supports a wide variety of cameras including multi-tap area and line scan colour plus monochrome cameras and 8-bit/10-taps configurations.
The Sapera APF software simplifies traditional FPGA development processes for software and hardware engineers by combining a point and click graphical interface with over 150 imaging functions in FPGA based image processing libraries. It allows the development of simple, single pass or complex iterative algorithms, and can even verify designs to cut down on development times.
Sapera APF also automatically generates the necessary infrastructure to call user functions using the Sapera Software Development Kit. This allows users to create, debug, and deploy FPGA code without ever leaving the development GUI, thus dramatically improving ease of development and time to deployment.
