Expectations exceeded – positive summary of STEMMER IMAGING's first CVB User Group Meeting

In April, STEMMER IMAGING held its first CVB User Group Meeting at its headquarters in Puchheim near Munich. More than 50 registered participants had the opportunity to find out more about the latest developments in the Common Vision Blox (CVB) the machine vision programming library from STEMMER IMAGING. With over 80,000 deployed licenses, CVB is one of the most used software platforms for machine vision.

The focus of the user group meeting was on top actual subjects such as machine learning, embedded vision, hyperspectral imaging and the increasing integration between machine vision and automation via the OPC UA standard. In addition to various presentations by STEMMER IMAGING experts, the participants benefited from a lively exchange in exciting discussion forums and practical workshops.

"The presentations by our application engineers and current case studies provided a user-oriented platform for exchanging ideas, which was very positively evaluated by the participants," CVB Product Manager Dr. Jonathan Vickers sums up, "We are delighted that so many guests accepted our invitation. This shows us once again how important CVB is on the market. It is planned to repeat the event at regular intervals."
