Xtium2-CXP series is available with three models, with x1, x2 and x4 ports configurations. The acquisition of digital image sources via CoaXPress ensures the availability of various product combination, different configuration options, number of ports and will therefore support future scalability.
Teledyne DALSA Xtium2-CXP PX8
High-Performance CoaXPress CXP-12 frame grabber
The Xtium2-CXP PX8 features CoaxPress vers. 2.0 standard on the PCI Express™ Gen 3.0 platform. The Xtium2-CXP series takes full advantage of PCIe Gen 3.0 platform using PCIe x8 slots to deliver bandwidth up to 6.4GB/sec into the host memory. The series offers models with either x1, x2 or x4 ports and supports monochrome, RGB and Bayer CXP 2.0 cameras. This means, for example, that the Xtium2-CXP PX8 Quad can capture data from four separately operated 1-CXP cameras (12.5 Gb/s per channel) at the same time.
Reasons to choose the Teledyne DALSA Xtium2-CXP PX8
By enabling maximum sustained throughput and ready-to-use image data, the Xtium2-CXP series minimizes CPU usage and improves processing times for the host applications. In addition, the Xtium2-CXP offers enhanced memory architecture to handle area and line scan, monochrome and colour cameras.
Xtium2-CXP series comprehensive event notification includes start/end of frame/transfer. It provides camera control signals for external event synchronization. Furthermore 4-optically isolated inputs can be configured as trigger or general purpose inputs. User applications can be controlled with highest flexibility.
T2IR ensures the image capture process is controlled and monitored from the trigger point right the way through to the transfer onto the host memory. T2IR is a combination of hardware and software features that work together at a system level to improve the reliability of the inspection system. This prevents many errors before they happen and makes the system more reliable, which in turn delivers more uptime, more productivity, and lower costs.
