GEVA: Compact Vision PC

Teledyne DALSA’s GEVA series is especially designed for applications using GigE Vision cameras. The powerful compact vision PCs are available from all STEMMER IMAGING offices in Germany, Great Britain, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Teledyne DALSA’s GEVA compact vision PCs are especially designed for applications using GigE Vision cameras. The system builds on the flexible interfaces of the previous models, offering a higher performance in a smaller body due to the latest ultra-low-voltage processors. A special thermal management allows the use even in harsh industrial environments. The software environments Sherlock and iNspect are perfect for use on the GEVA vision systems.

Based on multi-core processors

The ultra-compact system is based on multi-core processors (2,4 GHz Core 2 Duo) providing the user with 2 GB DDR3 RAM, a data rate of 1066 MHz and a 40 GB SSD storage. The GEVA systems can be expanded with an optional PCI Express Ethernet x 3 and optoisolated I/Os. GEVA’s additional strengths include the easy and flexible I/Os (8 inputs plus 2 trigger inputs, 8 outputs plus 2 strobe outputs), and easy integration for a variety of GigE Vision cameras with cable lengths of up to 100 metres. Aside from two GigE camera interfaces, GEVA provides a number of external interfaces for an additional GigE port, an RS232 interface, two USB ports, a VGA display and dedicated interfacing for configuration and control.
