Tamron with new ultra-high-resolution lenses

1 Oct 2013

Tamron has developed the new C-mount series for 2/3“ machine vision cameras to meet the increasing quality requirements and the trend towards ever higher resolutions.

According to Tamron the new M23FM series guarantee a resolution of 6 megapixels from the center to the peripherals. This corresponds to a pixel size of about 3 ?m. The robust housing of the C-mount lenses withstands even the highest mechanical stress and makes these lenses particularly suitable for harsh industrial applications.

Ultra-high resolution over the entire sensor

Models with focal lengths of 50 mm, 35 mm and 25 mm are available now. Four additional focal lengths for the wide angle range will follow shortly. The key features include the ultra-high resolution over the entire sensor, very short close-focus ranges, very low distortion and chromatic aberration as well as high edge illumination. Even in low light conditions, the high luminosity of the M23FM lenses provides the best results. The iris/focus lock screw position can be selected from 3 points.
