Test chart

Test charts contain various geometric patterns that serve as means to check and calibrate optical devices like cameras and optics.

Line pairs are used to determine the resolution performance of optics and sensors. The colour reproduction of a camera can be controlled through colour fields. Furthermore test charts can amongst other things be used to check chromatic aberration of optics or to maximize the contrast range of cameras.
