The new models in the LND2 series offer the user extremely uniform, diffuse LED lighting for line scan cameras and thus excellent illumination for line sensors at a good price-performance ratio. They are suitable for use in a variety of applications and are available as variants with red or white light. The standard available lengths are given by CCS as 301, 603, 903 and 1203 mm. Customized lengths of the LND2 lights are also available in steps of 100 mm. Blue or green LEDs can also be ordered as customized versions.
The new lights of CCS's LNSP-FN series are suitable for extremely fast camera applications. These units provide an ultra bright and uniform white light with a colour temperature of 5800 K. With a luminosity of 900,000 lx and a recommended working distance of 50 mm these lights are the perfect choice for high-speed image capture in line scan camera applications. The lights of the LNSP-FN series are equipped with fans integrated at intervals of 100 mm and thus provide optimal cooling. LNSP-FN lights are available in lengths from 100 mm to 1500 mm. In combination with the dedicated power supply PSCC-60048, the LNSP-FN system supports useful error detection which informs the user about possible anomalies in lighting. This allows early detection of fan breakdown or other malfunction, as well as of faults such as short circuits or the entire breakdown of LED's.
The new lights of the LNSP-UV-FN and LNSP-UV-FNNR series deliver UV-LED light at a wavelength of 365 nm. These high-output lights are ideally suited for applications where lens errors are to be detected via excitation with UV light. The lights of these two series are available in the three sizes 100, 200 and 300 mm and differ in their directional characteristics: the FN models provide virtually parallel light which allows illumination over greater distances; the lights of the FNNR series enable diffuse illumination over large areas. The UV lights are also equipped with one fan per 100 mm length and give the user feedback on fan or LED defects in conjunction with PSCC-60048 power pack.
CCS was founded in Kyoto in 1993 and released its first LED light for the machine vision market in 1994. Since then, the company has expanded and now is one of the world’s largest suppliers of LED illumination with offices in Japan, China, Singapore, Belgium and the US.
