Area scan cameras with USB interface
USB cameras that meet the USB3 vision standard are ideal for fast applications. As a rule, however, only shorter cables can be used. In order to achieve longer cable lengths, we recommend the use of cables specially certified for machine vision.
Nevertheless, USB3 vision cameras offer a whole range of advantages, such as their space-saving size, small connectors and high bandwidth with low CPU load. Many of the current embedded ARM systems also benefit from this.
