15 octobre 2014
From the 4th to the 6th November, the international imaging and machine vision sector meets at VISION in Stuttgart for the first time in two years. For the last 25 years, VISION has been an annual event, now changed into a biennial trade fair, and this has boosted anticipation levels. Many manufacturers will have been using this time intensively to develop new products and will be exhibiting these at VISION 2014.
With a range of partners, STEMMER IMAGING will be demonstrating how development effort has enabled this technology to progress across all sectors. We describe a few of these innovations in this newsletter, but the best way to obtain comprehensive information is to come to see us in Stuttgart, at stand, E52 in Hall 1! There you can talk with our experts who will be delighted to advise you on all topics relating to imaging.
Then, in the following week, from the 11th to the 14th November, we will be exhibiting again, this time at Compamed in Düsseldorf where we will be presenting a selection of our products intended specifically for use in the medical technology sector, at stand E01 in Hall 8b.
This year once again, we will be rounding off our trade fair year at the Nuremberg automation trade fair SPS/IPC Drives, held from the 25th to the 27th November, where you will find us at stand 141 in Hall 7A. In this environment, Industrie 4.0 is a topical buzzword that is being discussed in a diverse range of contexts. This sector is working on an expansion of 'learning production' with the help of numerous concepts. A positive aspect here for our technology is this: in our view, Industrie 4.0 will not function without the capabilities of machine vision. With this in mind, we are looking forward to this trade fair with great excitement and look forward to your visit to our exhibition stand!
Vision Days lecture
On the last day of the VISION trade fair, and in the context of the Vision Days, Jan Friedrich from STEMMER IMAGING will be presenting the possibilities arising from the combination of Contact Image Sensors from Mitsubishi Electric and CVB FlexInspect, especially those associated with pressure inspection of safety features. His lecture, entitled 'Contact Image Sensors (CIS) & CVB Flex¬Inspect: A new approach to high-security print-inspection' will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2014 between 11:30 a.m. and mid-day at what is being referred to as 'Stage 2' at stand E10 in Hall 1.
