The FiberOptic LightGuide is a glass-fibre light guide, available in various lengths as well as single-ended or multi-ended option, with a high flexibility as well as in a semi-rigid gooseneck variant.
LightGuides are compatible to IntraLED light sources. FiberOptic also offers customised designs, especially for high temperature environments.
Reasons to select the FiberOptic LightGuide
As the light source can be isolated from the target, the heat produced by the light source does not interfere with a potential temperature sensitive target. Because light guides conduct light from the light source to the target, the source can be consequently isolated and protected from the potential harsh environment at the target.
A wide selection of different lengths and active areas, single or dual-arm, adapts to the spatial situations of applications. Highly flexible glass fibre with small bend radius allows integration in confined spaces.
The semi-rigid gooseneck variant allows adaptable positioning of the light output without extra mounting.
The randomised distribution of the fibres within the active area guarantees a particular homogeneous illumination.
The LightGuide fibres are mechanically and optically compatible to all IntraLED light sources, in order to simplify integration.
