The new Optronis CamRecord Sprinter-FHD offers full HD resolution at more than 1,800 fps for recording and analysing fast processes in fault analysis, quality assurance and ballistics. The TimeViewer software allows objects, or points tagged using a marker, to be automatically tracked at sub-pixel accuracy from image to image, enabling precise recording of the path of an object. Image data are buffered in a fast 16 GB memory and saved either to an internal SSD hard disk or on a PC.
The new 86 Mpixel Falcon4™ colour or monochrome cameras from Teledyne DALSA provide exceptional resolution at high frame rates of 16 fps. The CMOS sensor has more pixels (10720 × 8064) than 40 HD screens, allowing inspection of extremely large areas without image stitching or revealing even finer detail in traditional industrial vision applications.
Part of the new TH2 series of flat machine vision LEDs from CCS Inc, the high output TH2-PM family of backlights have been optimised to give highly directional illumination. This makes them ideally suited to dimensional measurements where accurate imaging of the outline of objects is needed and other transmission imaging applications.
Every day the lives of millions of people depend on intact tyres on cars and airplanes. The Carl Zeiss Optotechnik tyre inspection systems equipped with STEMMER IMAGING’s state-of-the-art machine vision components provide the maximum possible safety in this domain.
In collaboration with STEMMER IMAGING, Erichsen has developed an imaging module for routine sheet metal inspections according to ISO 16630 in order to further automate the inspection process, to eliminate the 'human factor' and to achieve a dramatic improvement in documentation. These measures are the foundation for Industry 4.0 concepts and cloud applications.
