Quality Management

At STEMMER IMAGING, the quality of our products, support and services in the field of machine vision is of major concern to us. That's why we have been certified to ISO 9001 for many years, and to ISO 50001 since 2022.

As a customer, you benefit directly from these high standards through

  • optimum quality of our products
  • on-time delivery and
  • competitive conditions.

We also care about the environment and want to do our part. That's why we at STEMMER IMAGING and our suppliers comply with the ROHS and REACH Directives.

Certificate ISO 9001:2015

Although certification has already become standard in the industrial sector, the service sector is lagging a long way behind with respect to systematic quality management. STEMMER IMAGING is currently one of the IT service companies that is leading the way in realising the »total quality management« philosophy. As a future-oriented company, STEMMER IMAGING has for years been actively working on developing their corporate processes in a way that is both quality-aware and customer-oriented. Certification now also provides confirmation to the outside world that the existing quality management system is compliant with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.

Certified energy management system according to ISO 50001

As part of its sustainability strategy, STEMMER IMAGING AG has implemented an energy management system according to ISO 50001. It was successfully certified by TÜV Nord for the first time in May 2022. In this way, we are contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas and CO2 emissions as well as to the careful use of energy resources. We are thereby helping to achieve the EU's climate protection targets.

Certified Cyber Essentials for UK

At STEMMER IMAGING, protecting our digital infrastructure and customer data is a top priority. Achieving the Cyber Essentials Certification, a UK government-backed standard, demonstrates our commitment to strong cybersecurity practices and continuous risk management. The certification confirms that STEMMER IMAGING has implemented essential technical and organizational measures to defend against the most common cyber threats — including secure network configuration, access control, malware protection, and regular software updates.

By adhering to these recognized best practices, we ensure a secure digital environment for our customers, partners, and employees, reinforcing trust and reliability across all our operations.

WEEE and RoHS

STEMMER IMAGING supports these initiatives to protect our environment as implemented in the relevant national laws regarding electrical equipment. Implementation of both Directives will lead to a reduction in the use of hazardous substances including lead, cadmium, chromium and mercury.

According to the information provided by the Government on the application of the laws regarding electrical and electronic equipment, the electronics products we sell are not generally subject to the Directives. This information states that large-scale, fixed-location industrial tools and components of such equipment are explicitly excluded from the scope of application of the Directives.

As a rule, image processing components are regarded as fixed-location industrial equipment and therefore do not need to comply with the requirements of the WEEE or RoHS Directive.

However, to protect the environment, we nevertheless see it as our duty to adhere to the Directives as far as possible, and we have already been in contact with our suppliers about this issue for several months and have been drawing their attention to the problems and constraints associated with these Directives.

In the meantime most of our suppliers offer exclusively ROHS compliant products. Individual products which are not ROHS compliant are labelled as such by STEMMER IMAGING.
