¿Por qué elegir JAI - Flex-Eye?

How can I configure the specific wavebands to suit the application requirements?

Provide the mandatory information specifying the number of sensors, resolution and whether Bayer or monochrome sensors are to be used in the visible spectrum. Define the wavebands, widths and locations. A simple form is sent to JAI's engineers for a feasibility check to ensure that the configuration can be supported by JAI's current range of prisms and dichroic filters. The camera is then customised to your specification, manufactured and shipped to you.

Where can the user-specified wavebands be located?

Depending on the user's requirements, two or three user-specified wavebands can be located all within the visible spectrum (405-680 nm) or in multiple locations across the visible and near-infrared spectrum up to 1000 nm. Wavebands can be as narrow as 25 nm in 5 nm increments. You must therefore choose between 2 wavebands (sensors) or 3 wavebands (sensors). For example, you can choose a Bayer sensor that covers the entire visible spectrum as one waveband that can be split into its three components (R,G,B) during post-processing and 2 wavebands in the near infrared. Or 2 small bands in the visible spectrum and one in the NIR. JAI's dichroic prism technology allows narrow band separation of the wavelength according to the application requirements.

Precision alignment of the optical axis

Thanks to the advanced prism technology used in JAI Flex-Eye cameras, the optical axis is always precisely aligned, eliminating parallax problems. This also eliminates the need for complex alignment of multiple cameras. This makes the camera ideal for difficult shapes and randomly moving and rotating objects.

High-speed interface with precise synchronisation

Advanced sensor technology combined with a high-speed data interface provides high data throughput while increasing system productivity.

Cameras equipped with the 10GBASE-T interface provide up to three channels of output. Precision Time Protocol (PTP) support in the camera ensures simultaneous image capture when connected to other PTP-supported cameras. The synchronously captured images have the same time stamp, making image analysis easier.
