¿Por qué elegir Teledyne DALSA - Genie Nano CXP?

High-speed data transmission with CoaXPress

The CoaXPress interface allows higher data rates than CameraLink and the use of longer cable lengths. This makes it possible to bridge greater distances between the camera and the host system, and adds flexibility to the overall setup.

Simplified integration in confined spaces

The extremely small and lightweight housing enables the design of very compact OEM and multi-camera solutions. This simplifies integration into existing systems where space for the machine vision components is limited. The slim body length of only 32 mm eliminates the need for more expensive angle head versions. The compact design also results in an overall competitive advantage when a single camera model fits all possible space requirements.

Reliable protection against data loss

The Trigger-to-Image Reliability framework controls and monitors the image capture process end-to-end, from trigger to transfer to host memory. This clearly tracks data loss and improves the reliability of the entire inspection process. This helps to increase the quality of your inspection by sorting out parts that have not been inspected due to shortfalls in the image capture process.

Extended system reliability and endurance

The extended operating temperature range makes the Teledyne DALSA Genie Nano an ideal match for harsh environments. Even with temperature differences there is no need for external cooling or protective housings. As no additional components are required to keep the camera at a suitable temperature, very compact test cells can be built. The wide temperature range and high MTBF help to extend camera life and increase system reliability. This reduces or eliminates production downtime and extends the life of a machine.

Flexible configuration for various usage scenarios

Different applications have different requirements for image acquisition and image processing. Some of these sometimes demanding requirements are high dynamic range, 10-bit pixel depth, use of the camera sensor’s highest internal read-out speed, or extending the capacity of the data throughput by means of (lossless or lossy) image compression.

Cycling mode to cycle through preset camera parameters

The cycling mode implements a method of using different user controlled configurations. This allows different light sources, lighting angles, exposure times, gains, etc. to be used for each line. In this way, a single pass with a single camera provides a high level of information comparable to multiple cameras or camera/frame grabber combinations. This feature avoids the need for costly and complex hardware solutions as, for example, multiple illumination variants of the same object increase defect detection and production reliability. It can also reduce inspection time in cases where different lighting setups are required to inspect an object.
