Pourquoi choisir Allied Vision - Prosilica GT ?

Superior image quality in all lighting conditions

The simultaneous use of the precise iris lens control (P-Iris) with exposure time and gain control ensures perfect image quality in all lighting conditions, even in triggered applications. This enables reliable applications in outdoor scenarios, without missing incidents. The additional support for DC auto-iris allows the use of economical lenses from the security sector.

Perfect synchronisation with external components

Support for the Precision Time Protocol (IEEE 1588) enables synchronisation of cameras and other system components over a PTP-compatible Ethernet network. This includes time stamps, free-running exposures and pre-emptive single-shot exposures. The chunk data feature transmits metadata with the images such as gain and exposure settings, as well as the AOI settings. Image optimisation features include gamma correction and look-up tables (LUT), reducing the load on the host computer. These features help to avoid costly and complex hardware solutions by reducing the hardware requirements for synchronisation.

Image trigger over GigE Vision action commands

GigE Vision action commands allow a trigger signal to be sent to multiple GigE Vision cameras almost simultaneously. This makes action commands more precise than a generic software trigger. When a vision application requires a particularly fast response to a trigger signal, action commands can be used. As a result, multi-camera systems can be designed with fewer components and cables. Using state-of-the-art features in system design provides a technological advantage over the competition.

Look-up table (LUT) for data manipulation

Look-up tables make it easy to perform pre-processing operations such as remapping pixel values to other pixels, applying gamma to a specific colour or highlighting a specific intensity value. By modifying certain grey values or binarising images, the information in the image can be reduced in the camera, reducing the load on the CPU and minimising the amount of data to be transferred.

Robust camera with high temperature range

With a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to 65°C, a vision system can be designed for ambient temperatures with less need for active cooling and less susceptibility to failure. While superior product quality is a competitive advantage in itself, more reliable solutions also result in fewer service calls and maintenance.

Simple I/O integration

System integration is made easy for the Prosilica GT with both TTL and opto-isolated I/O built into the camera, along with the standard RS232 serial protocol to connect to peripheral controllers.

Inspect smallest details in wide sights

Prosilica GT cameras with high-resolution Sony IMX Pregius CMOS sensors take high-resolution imaging to the next level. With resolutions up to 31.4 megapixels in a variety of aspect ratios, the Prosilica GT addresses a wide range of high-definition imaging applications with demanding ruggedness and design-in flexibility requirements.
