Accurate colours and precise colour separation

The JAI Apex produces the best colour fidelity and spatial precision due to steep spectral curves, resulting in less crosstalk.

High resolution combined with high frame rate

The Apex is built around three sensors. Combined with a USB3 Vision, Camera Link, Gige Vision and 10 GigE interface, this machine vision camera can output as much as 3 x 1.6 or 3.2 megapixels up to 120 frames/second in full resolution.

This will enable many more vision designers to step up to the increased value that comes from incorporating a prism-based color camera.

Flexible color space conversion

The prism technology separates the incoming light into red, green and blue wavelength subspectra, each directed to one of the three well aligned sensors.

The Apex Series provides great flexibility in on-board color space conversion: including RGB to HSI color space conversion and RGB to CIE-XYZ color space conversion.

This makes the Apex Series cameras an ideal choice if you have imaging applications where you need very accurate color data and high spatial precision.
