Warum Mitsubishi Electric - CIS for for High Speed Applications (RGB)?

High-Speed Data Transfer

The CoaXPress interface delivers extremely fast image transmission for demanding inline inspection systems. High line rates ensure reliable image acquisition even on rapidly moving production lines. Manufacturers can increase throughput without sacrificing image quality or inspection accuracy.

Wide Scanning Coverage

Scanning widths ranging from 367 mm to 1688 mm allow inspection of small components as well as wide continuous materials using a single integrated sensor. Multiple model sizes eliminate unnecessary system complexity and simplify machine design. Customers benefit from a scalable solution that matches their exact inspection requirements.

Adaptive Speed Optimization Through Pixel Binning

Integrated pixel binning combines adjacent sensor pixels to reduce image data while maintaining application flexibility. By lowering the effective resolution, the Line Scan Bar achieves higher line rates without hardware changes. With pixel binning, the maximum line rate increases from 55 kHz at 600 dpi to 159 kHz at 150 dpi, enabling higher web and conveyor speeds with the same camera and system configuration. Users can optimize the balance between resolution and inspection speed. When full resolution is not required, pixel binning increases production throughput, reduces system complexity, and allows one Line Scan Bar to support multiple inspection requirements.

1:1 Telecentric Imaging

The integrated GRIN lens technology creates a true 1:1 representation of the inspected object on the sensor. Unlike conventional optical systems, the telecentric imaging principle minimizes distortion and maintains consistent magnification across the entire scanning width. Customers benefit from highly accurate measurements, reliable defect detection, and repeatable inspection results.

Flexible Integration Options

The product family offers both CoaXPress and CameraLink interfaces, together with versions featuring integrated illumination or external lighting. Different working distances support a wide range of machine layouts and installation constraints. Machine builders reduce engineering effort and can select the most suitable configuration for every inspection system.

Optimized for Inline Inspection

Designed specifically for continuous web and conveyor-based inspection, the RGB Line Scan Bars combine high resolution, fast acquisition, and stable optical performance. Accurate color reproduction supports reliable detection of print, surface, and assembly defects. Customers achieve consistent inspection quality while maximizing production efficiency.
